About this site

This site is run by Thomas and Øyvind — two Norwegians who came to AI and tech later in life and went all-in on it.

Thomas was an electrician for years, then built houses. Øyvind worked in insurance and ran a firm helping people manage and cut their debts. Neither of us came up through startup tech. We learned by doing — late nights, lots of mistakes, and a stubborn habit of testing things ourselves before recommending them.

Everything you'll see on this site is filtered through that habit. If we link to a bank, a card, a VPN, a broker — chances are one of us has actually opened an account, paid a fee, sat on hold with their support, or watched a transfer settle. We won't pretend the ones we don't use; we'll tell you that too.

Affiliate links pay our bills. They're disclosed on every page that has one (see our affiliate disclosure). They never change which products we recommend, only which links we use to send you there. If something we recommended turned out badly, write to us. We read every email.
